CRA Ottawa Participates in Ottawa Race Weekend
Several staff members from the Ottawa office participated in 'The Ottawa Race Weekend' (May 29-30, 2010) to raise money for The Ottawa Hospital. The CRA team raised $2,850 for The Ottawa Hospital, including a CRA match of $900 based on CRA participant pledges up to $150.

Marie, Peter, Christine, Angèle, and Wayne all participated in the 10K event held on Saturday, May 29th. Julia and Isabelle participated in the Family 2K event held earlier in the day. Another member of our team, Geoff Carran, ran his first half marathon on Sunday, May 30th, in an impressive 1 hour and 41 minutes!
The Ottawa Race Weekend is the largest race in Canada with 40,000 participants running in the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Family 2K events. For anyone interested in joining the group in future years, this race is considered a qualifier for The Boston Marathon.
The team is already planning to surpass its fundraising efforts for next year's race and hoping to welcome a few more members to the team. Congratulations CRA Ottawa Team!
